The Metamora Redbirds basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the host LaSalle-Peru Cavaliers to 37 in the Redbirds non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Redbirds now sport a 30-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Richwoods for a non-league contest on Friday, March 1. Metamora will battle a Knights team coming off a 70-66 non-league win over Kankakee (Kankakee, IL). The Knights record now stands at 27-4.
