Alaska High School Basketball - Mountain City Christian Academy nudges Wasilla
February 27, 2024: Anchorage, AK 99504 In Tuesday's league outing, the Mountain City Christian Academy Lions (Anchorage, AK) basketball squad edged the visiting Wasilla Warriors (Wasilla, AK), by a count of 59-52.
The Lions (7-16) will now prepare for their outing against Palmer (Palmer, AK). The Moose go into the 4A Northern Lights outing with a 8-12 record. In their last outing, Palmer held off Delta (Delta Junction, AK), 55-25, in a non-league outing.
The Warriors now hold a 10-11 record. They play next when they host Colony for a 4A Northern Lights outing on Friday, March 1. Wasilla will clash with a Knights squad coming off a 68-61 non-league loss to West Anchorage (Anchorage, AK). The Knights record now stands at 14-7.
