February 27, 2024: Hopkins, MI 49328 The Hopkins Vikings (Hopkins, MI) basketball nipped the visiting Allegan Tigers (Allegan, MI), 42-37 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Vikings (9-12) will now prepare for their test against Covenant Christian (Grand Rapids, MI). The Chargers go into the non-league test with a 14-5 record. In their last test, Covenant Christian was tipped by Holland Christian (Holland, MI), 61-40, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now own a 7-13 record. They play next when they host Watervliet for a Southwestern - Lakeshore test on Thursday, February 29. Allegan will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 36-34 non-league win over Michigan Lutheran (St. Joseph, MI). The Panthers record now stands at 13-7.
