Michigan High School Basketball - Dowagiac tops Niles
February 27, 2024: Dowagiac, MI 49047 Dowagiac Chieftains (Dowagiac, MI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Niles Vikings (Niles, MI), 50-40 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Dowagiac upgrades its record to 13-7 on the campaign. The Chieftains travel to Tournament Team (, ) to play the in a non-league bout on Monday, March 4. The come into the bout with a record of 10-20. Tournament Team lost 63-31 in their recent non-league bout against Winston-Salem Christian National (Winston-Salem, NC)
Next up, the Vikings play the Three Rivers Wildcats (Three Rivers, MI) in a Wolverine B bout, on Thursday, February 29. Niles will attempt to upgrade on its 2-18 season record. The Wildcats come into the bout with a 4-16 record after their 46-43 non-league win over Schoolcraft (Schoolcraft, MI).
