Iowa High School Basketball - Waverly-Shell Rock nips Sioux Center
February 27, 2024: Sioux Center, IA 51250 Waverly-Shell Rock Go-Hawks (Waverly, IA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Sioux Center Warriors (Sioux Center, IA), 55-51 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Waverly-Shell Rock upgrades its record to 24-0 on the campaign. The Go-Hawks travel to Bishop Heelan Catholic (Sioux City, IA) to play the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 29. The Crusaders come into the bout with a record of 23-1. Bishop Heelan Catholic won 70-40 in their recent non-league bout against Lewis Central (Council Bluffs, IA)
