February 27, 2024: Bessemer, AL 35022 Mortimer Jordan Blue Devils (Kimberly, AL) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Bessemer City Tigers (Bessemer, AL), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Blue Devils face the Decatur Red Raiders (Decatur, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 29. Mortimer Jordan will attempt to better on its 5-2 season record. The Red Raiders enter the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 6-1 non-league loss to Thompson (Alabaster, AL).
The Tigers now have a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jackson-Olin for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 5. Bessemer City will face a Mustangs team coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Wenonah (Birmingham, AL). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-5.
