Vela Sabercats (Edinburg, TX) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Rowe Warriors (McAllen, TX), 9-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Sabercats confront the Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North Raiders (Pharr, TX) in a 5A Region 4 District 31 challenge, on Friday, March 1. Vela will attempt to move on its 5-7 season record. The Raiders enter the challenge with a 13-6 record after their 4-0 league win over Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest (Pharr, TX).
