February 27, 2024: Upland, CA 91786 Upland Highlanders/Scots (Upland, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Santiago Sharks (Corona, CA), 11-7 in a non-league challenge.
The Highlanders/Scots now own a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they host Arcadia for a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 29. Upland will battle a Apaches squad coming off a 8-1 non-league win over Garfield (Los Angeles, CA). The Apaches record now stands at 3-3.
With the loss, Santiago falls to 4-4 on the campaign. The Sharks travel to Yorba Linda (Yorba Linda, CA) to battle the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 29.
