Thomson Bulldogs (Thomson, GA) fans left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Academy of Richmond County Musketeers (Augusta, GA), 7-3 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Thomson advances its record to 3-2 on the season. The Bulldogs host Washington-Wilkes (Washington, GA) to battle the Tigers in a non-league match on Saturday, March 1. The Tigers come into the match with a record of 2-5. Washington-Wilkes lost 13-6 in their recent non-league match against Elbert County (Elberton, GA)

The Musketeers now have a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Harlem for a 3A Area 4 match on Friday, February 28. Academy of Richmond County will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 9-1 non-league win over Evans (Evans, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-0.
