February 27, 2025: Freeport, TX 77541 Smithville Tigers (Smithville, TX) fans left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Brazosport Exporters (Freeport, TX), 6-1 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Smithville advances its record to 3-2 on the season. The Tigers travel to East Bernard (East Bernard, TX) to battle the Brahmas in a non-league match on Thursday, February 27. The Brahmas come into the match with a record of 2-0. East Bernard won 14-8 in their recent non-league match against Lamar Consolidated (Rosenberg, TX)
The Exporters now have a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lamar Consolidated for a non-league match on Friday, February 28. Brazosport will battle a Mustangs squad coming off a 14-8 non-league loss to East Bernard (East Bernard, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-5.
