In Thursday's non-league game, the host Northside Patriots baseball team scored a close 10-4 victory over the Calvary Christian Knights.

The Patriots (4-3) will now prepare for their game against Jonesboro (Jonesboro, GA). The Cardinals enter the 4A Area 3 game with a 2-5 record. In their last game, Jonesboro was overwhelmed by Starr's Mill (Fayetteville, GA), 13-3, in a league game.

Next, the Knights face the Glenwood Gators (Phenix City, AL) in a non-league game, on Thursday, March 6. Calvary Christian will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record.
