In Thursday's non-league game, the host Segerstrom Jaguars baseball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Century Centurions.

The Jaguars (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Irvine (Irvine, CA). The Vaqueros enter the non-league battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Irvine held off Newport Harbor (Newport Beach, CA), 8-3, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Centurions face the Kennedy Fighting Irish (La Palma, CA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, March 3. Century will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Fighting Irish enter the battle with a 4-1 record after their 6-2 non-league loss to Chino Hills (Chino Hills, CA).
