The Midland Legacy Rebels (Midland, TX) baseball got by the host Coronado Mustangs (Lubbock, TX), 5-4 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

The Rebels now own a 9-1 record. They take the field next when they host Grapevine for a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 27. Midland Legacy will clash with a Mustangs team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Rowlett (Rowlett, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-0.

With the defeat, Coronado drops to 2-4 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Midland (Midland, TX) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 28. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a record of 6-0. Midland won 7-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Monterey (Lubbock, TX)
