February 27, 2025: , The Southside Cardinals baseball team scored 3 runs and held the host Non Varsity Opponent to 2 in the Cardinals non-league win on Thursday.
The Cardinals now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Poth for a non-league test on Friday, February 28. Southside will play a Pirates team coming off a 6-4 non-league win over Southside (San Antonio, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 2-1.
With the defeat, Non Varsity Opponent drops to 4-16 on the year. The travel to White Knoll (Lexington, SC) to play the Timberwolves in a non-league test on Thursday, February 27. The Timberwolves go into the test with a record of 0-1. White Knoll lost 15-9 in their recent non-league test against Brookland-Cayce (Cayce, SC)
