Louisiana High School Baseball - Sterlington edges St. Amant
February 27, 2025: St. Amant, LA 70774 The Sterlington Panthers baseball team scored 12 runs and held the host St. Amant Gators to 10 in the Panthers non-league win on Thursday.
The Panthers now hold a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Denham Springs for a non-league test on Saturday, March 1. Sterlington will play a Yellowjackets team coming off a 6-1 non-league win over Ascension Christian (Gonzales, LA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 10-2.
With the defeat, St. Amant drops to 6-6 on the year. The Gators host Archbishop Shaw (Marrero, LA) to play the Eagles in a non-league test on Friday, February 28. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 5-3. Archbishop Shaw lost 13-3 in their recent non-league test against Zachary (Zachary, LA)
