The Highland Springs Springers basketball squad (Highland Springs, VA), was outscored 57-41 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Oscar Smith Tigers (Chesapeake, VA)

With the victory, Oscar Smith advances its record to 24-1 on the year. The Tigers travel to Landstown (Virginia Beach, VA) to meet the Eagles in a non-league battle on Saturday, March 1. The Eagles enter the battle with a record of 20-2. Landstown won 71-61 in their recent non-league battle against Glen Allen (Glen Allen, VA)
