The Somerset Academy - Canyons Cougars flag football squad scored 28 points and limited the visiting Cardinal Newman Crusaders to 0 in the Cougars league triumph on Thursday.

The Cougars now sport a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Atlantic for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 4. Somerset Academy - Canyons will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 46-0 non-league loss to Wellington (Wellington, FL). The Eagles record now stands at 0-3.

With the defeat, Cardinal Newman drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Suncoast (Riviera Beach, FL) to meet the Chargers in a non-league test on Monday, March 3. The Chargers come into the test with a record of 3-0. Suncoast won 19-6 in their recent non-league test against Palm Beach Lakes (West Palm Beach, FL)
