Florida High School Lacrosse - Oxbridge Academy nips Archbishop McCarthy
February 27, 2025: Fort Lauderdale, FL 33330 The Oxbridge Academy ThunderWolves lacrosse squad scored 14 points and limited the host Archbishop McCarthy Mavericks to 13 in the ThunderWolves non-league triumph on Thursday.
The ThunderWolves now hold a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Palmer Trinity for a non-league challenge on Friday, February 28. Oxbridge Academy will clash with a Falcons squad coming off a 22-2 non-league loss to Saint Andrew's (Boca Raton, FL). The Falcons record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, Archbishop McCarthy falls to 2-2 on the year. The Mavericks travel to Cardinal Gibbons (Fort Lauderdale, FL) to clash with the Chiefs in a 1A D15 challenge on Friday, February 28. The Chiefs go into the challenge with a record of 4-1. Cardinal Gibbons won 17-7 in their recent non-league challenge against South Plantation (Plantation, FL)
