The Esperanza Aztecs lacrosse squad scored 17 points and limited the host Lakewood Lancers to 1 in the Aztecs non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Aztecs now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Aliso Niguel for a non-league challenge on Friday, February 28. Esperanza will clash with a Wolverines squad coming off a 11-6 non-league loss to Laguna Beach (Laguna Beach, CA). The Wolverines record now stands at 1-2.
