February 27, 2025: Ackerman, MS 39735 The Caledonia Cavaliers (Caledonia, MS) softball the host Choctaw County Chargers (Ackerman, MS), 4-0 in Thursday's non-league outing.
The Cavaliers now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Germantown for a non-league outing on Saturday, March 1. Caledonia will encounter a Mavericks team coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Brandon (Brandon, MS). The Mavericks record now stands at 4-1.
With the loss, Choctaw County moves to 2-5 on the season. The Chargers travel to Aberdeen (Aberdeen, MS) to encounter the Bulldogs in a 3A Region 4 outing on Tuesday, March 4. The Bulldogs come into the outing with a record of 1-6. Aberdeen lost 11-7 in their recent non-league outing against Tremont (Tremont, MS)
