The Del Campo Cougars overwhelmed the host Cordova Lancers softball squad by a count of 15-9 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Cougars meet the El Camino Eagles (Sacramento, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, March 4. Del Campo will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Eagles go into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 15-1 non-league loss to Oakmont (Roseville, CA).

The Lancers (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Argonaut (Jackson, CA). The Mustangs go into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Argonaut held off Bret Harte (Angels Camp, CA), 6-3, in a non-league challenge.
