Galena Grizzlies (Reno, NV) fans left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad nip the visiting Downey Knights (Modesto, CA), 2-1 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Galena advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Grizzlies travel to Pioneer (Woodland, CA) to battle the Patriots in a non-league match on Saturday, February 28. The Patriots go into the game with a record of 1-1. Pioneer lost 10-0 in their recent non-league game against Central Catholic (Modesto, CA)
