Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the George County Rebels (Lucedale, MS) and the visiting Wayne County War EaglesLady War Eagles (Waynesboro, MS), observed George County's baseball squad overcome Wayne County by a final score of 11-2.

With the triumph, George County moves its record to 6-3 on the season. The Rebels host Washington County (Chatom, AL) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league contest on Saturday, February 28. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a record of 4-1. Washington County lost 1-0 in their recent non-league contest against Wayne County (Waynesboro, MS)

The War EaglesLady War Eagles now possess a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Quitman for a non-league game on Saturday, February 28. Wayne County will face a Panthers team coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to Clarkdale (Meridian, MS). The Panthers record now stands at 1-4.
