February 27, 2026: Jesup, GA 31545 In Friday's non-league bout, the Mill Creek Hawks (Hoschton, GA) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Wayne County Yellow Jackets (Jesup, GA), by a tally of 8-1.
Next up, the Hawks encounter the Hoover Buccaneers (Hoover, AL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 28. Mill Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record. The Buccaneers go into the challenge with a 5-0 record after their 9-7 non-league win over Columbia Academy (Columbia, MS).
With the defeat, Wayne County drops to 5-3 on the year. The Yellow jackets travel to Pierce County (Blackshear, GA) to clash with the Bears in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 3.
