Louisiana High School Softball - Willow sneaks past A.J. Ellender
February 27, 2026: Houma, LA 70363 The Willow Lions softball squad scored 12 runs and restricted the host A.J. Ellender Patriots to 11 in the Lions non-league victory on Friday.
Next, the Lions meet the Edna Karr Cougars (New Orleans, LA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, February 28. Willow will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Cougars go into the test with a 5-2 record after their 15-0 league loss to John Curtis Christian (River Ridge, LA).
The Patriots (2-4) will now prepare for their test against Destrehan (Destrehan, LA). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 6-0 record. In their last test, Destrehan held off Prairieville (Prairieville, LA), 5-3, in a non-league test.
