The Centennial Titans softball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting Irving Tigers to 4 in the Titans non-league win on Friday.

The Titans now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Memorial for a 5A Region II District 11 battle on Monday, March 2. Centennial will confront a Warriors team coming off a 4-3 league loss to Lebanon Trail (Frisco, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 6-5.

With the loss, Irving moves to 1-13 on the season. The Tigers travel to Pearce (Richardson, TX) to meet the Mustangs in a 6A Region I District 7 challenge on Tuesday, March 3. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 4-9. Pearce lost 14-0 in their recent non-league challenge against IMG Academy (Bradenton, FL)
