The Covenant Day Lions crushed the visiting Gaston Day Spartans baseball team by a count of 11-1 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Lions now possess a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Christ School for a non-league bout on Friday, March 4. Covenant Day will face a Greenies team coming off a 13-0 non-league win over Franklin (Franklin, NC). The Greenies record now stands at 1-0.

Next, the Spartans face the Hickory Christian Academy Knights (Hickory, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, March 1. Gaston Day will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
