February 28, 2022: Laurens, SC 29360 The crowd at Monday's non-league test between the Mid-Carolina Rebels (Prosperity, SC) and the host Laurens Raiders (Laurens, SC), saw Mid-Carolina's soccer squad beat Laurens by a margin of 5-1.
The Rebels now sport a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Pelion for a non-league test on Wednesday, March 2. Mid-Carolina will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 11-0 non-league loss to Airport (West Columbia, SC). The Panthers record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Laurens drops to 0-1 on the season. The Raiders travel to Brashier Middle College Charter (Simpsonville, SC) to meet the Bengal in a non-league test on Thursday, March 3. The Bengal come into the test with a record of 1-0. Brashier Middle College Charter won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Dixie (Due West, SC)
