West Lincoln Rebels (Lincolnton, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Cherryville Ironmen (Cherryville, NC), 4-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Rebels now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Lincoln for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 2.
