Prospect Panthers (Saratoga, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Overfelt Royals (San Jose, CA), 14-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Wilcox for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 2. Prospect will battle a Chargers squad coming off a 12-1 non-league loss to Cupertino (Cupertino, CA). The Chargers record now stands at 1-2.
