In their next game, the Gators face the St. Mary Tigers (Natchitoches, LA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, March 2. Northwood will attempt to move on its 28-7 season record. The Tigers enter the game with a 13-5 record after their 52-38 non-league win over St. Frederick (Monroe, LA).
With the defeat, Cedar Creek moves to 12-12 on the year.
