February 28, 2023: Jackson, MI 49201 The Northwest Mounties (Jackson, MI) basketball knocked off the visiting Columbia Central Golden Eagles (Brooklyn, MI), 73-56 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Mounties (12-9) will now prepare for their test against Charlotte (Charlotte, MI). The Orioles go into the non-league test with a 14-6 record. In their last test, Charlotte went down by Harper Creek (Battle Creek, MI), 58-52, in a non-league test.
The Golden Eagles now own a 5-14 record. They play next when they host Leslie for a non-league test on Thursday, March 2. Columbia Central will encounter a Blackhawks squad coming off a 58-41 non-league loss to Tecumseh (Tecumseh, MI). The Blackhawks record now stands at 15-6.
