Michigan High School Basketball - Evart nips Marion
February 28, 2023: Marion, MI 49665 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Evart Wildcats (Evart, MI) and the host Marion Eagles (Marion, MI), saw Evart's basketball squad hold off Marion by a tally of 53-51.
With the victory, Evart improves its record to 11-7 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Beal City (Mt. Pleasant, MI) to play the Aggies in a Highland challenge on Wednesday, March 1. The Aggies come into the challenge with a record of 17-3.
Next up, the Eagles play the Bear Lake Lakers (Bear Lake, MI) in a West Michigan D challenge, on Thursday, March 2. Marion will attempt to improve on its 14-6 season record. The Lakers come into the challenge with a 8-13 record after their 52-28 league loss to Baldwin (Baldwin, MI).
