In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Northwood Chargers (Pittsboro, NC) basketball squad beat the visiting Franklinton Rams (Franklinton, NC), by a count of 59-49.

The Chargers (27-2) will now prepare for their outing against E.E. Smith (Fayetteville, NC). The Golden Bulls go into the non-league outing with a 26-3 record. In their last outing, E.E. Smith defeated Northern Nash (Rocky Mount, NC), 54-41, in a non-league outing.
