Michigan High School Basketball - University Liggett nudges Lutheran Northwest
February 28, 2023: Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48236 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the University Liggett Knights (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI) basketball squad edged the visiting Lutheran Northwest Crusaders (Rochester Hills, MI), by a count of 54-52.
The Knights (13-7) will now prepare for their outing against Greenhills (Ann Arbor, MI). The Gryphons go into the Catholic Intersectional I outing with a 6-13 record. In their last outing, Greenhills held off Inter-City Baptist (Allen Park, MI), 69-65, in a non-league outing.
The Crusaders now hold a 14-4 record. They play next when they travel to Clintondale for a non-league outing on Thursday, March 2. Lutheran Northwest will clash with a Dragons squad coming off a 61-59 non-league loss to South Lake (St. Clair Shores, MI). The Dragons record now stands at 10-11.
