California High School Volleyball - St. Monica over New Roads
February 28, 2023: Santa Monica, CA 90403 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the St. Monica Mariners (Santa Monica, CA) and the visiting New Roads Jaguars (Santa Monica, CA), saw St. Monica's volleyball squad beat New Roads by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, St. Monica upgrades its record to 1-1 on the year. The Mariners travel to Venice (Los Angeles, CA) to play the Gondoliers in a non-league bout on Friday, March 3. The Gondoliers go into the bout with a record of 1-1.
The Jaguars now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Ontario Christian for a non-league bout on Thursday, March 2. New Roads will play a Knights squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Sierra Vista (Baldwin Park, CA). The Knights record now stands at 0-4.
