Middle Creek Mustangs (Apex, NC) followers exited the stadium content Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the host Broughton Capitals (Raleigh, NC), 15-5 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Middle Creek upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Mustangs host Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC) to play the Golden Hawks in a Southwest Wake match on Friday, March 3. The Golden Hawks go into the match with a record of 1-0. Holly Springs won 15-8 in their recent non-league match against Heritage (Wake Forest, NC)

With the defeat, Broughton drops to 0-1 on the season. The Capitals host Heritage (Wake Forest, NC) to play the Huskies in a non-league match on Thursday, March 2. The Huskies go into the match with a record of 0-1. Heritage lost 15-8 in their recent non-league match against Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC)
