Georgia High School Soccer - Cass held off by South Paulding
February 28, 2023: Douglasville, GA 30134 The South Paulding Spartans held off the visiting Cass Colonels soccer squad by a margin of 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league match.
The Spartans now sport a 3-3 record. They play next when they host Paulding County for a 6A Area 5 match on Friday, March 3. South Paulding will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Woodland (Cartersville, GA). The Patriots record now stands at 1-4.
With the loss, Cass drops to 4-5 on the season. The Colonels travel to Dalton (Dalton, GA) to encounter the Catamounts in a 5A Area 7 match on Friday, March 3.
