Texas High School Softball - Pecos bounces Ozona
February 28, 2023: Pecos, TX 79772 Pecos Eagles (Pecos, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Ozona Lions (Ozona, TX), 19-8 in a non-league challenge.
The Eagles now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to El Dorado for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 2. Pecos will battle a Aztecs squad coming off a 18-7 league loss to Pebble Hills (El Paso, TX). The Aztecs record now stands at 6-8.
With the loss, Ozona falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Lions travel to McCamey (McCamey, TX) to battle the Badgers in a 2A Region I District 5 challenge on Saturday, March 4. The Badgers enter the challenge with a record of 7-4. McCamey won 28-16 in their recent non-league challenge against Crane (Crane, TX)
