February 28, 2024: Walnut Creek, CA 94598 Albany Cougars (Albany, CA) supporters left the game in high spirits Wednesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Berean Christian Eagles (Walnut Creek, CA), 3-1 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Cougars battle the Miramonte Matadors (Orinda, CA) in a non-league match, on Friday, March 1. Albany will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record. The Matadors come into the match with a 1-3 record after their 3-1 league loss to Benicia (Benicia, CA).
With the loss, Berean Christian drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Eagles host California (San Ramon, CA) to battle the Grizzlies in a non-league match on Thursday, February 29. The Grizzlies come into the match with a record of 0-1. California lost 3-0 in their recent non-league match against Heritage (Brentwood, CA)
