The Castro Valley Trojans (Castro Valley, CA) baseball trounced the host North Monterey County Condors (Castroville, CA), 8-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.

The Trojans now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Salinas for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 1. Castro Valley will clash with a Cowboys team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Christopher (Gilroy, CA). The Cowboys record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, North Monterey County drops to 0-2 on the year. The Condors travel to Soledad (Soledad, CA) to clash with the Aztecs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 4. The Aztecs go into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Soledad lost 8-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Weston Ranch (Stockton, CA)
