In Friday's non-league bout, the Center Cougars (Antelope, CA) baseball squad edged the host Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA), by a tally of 3-2.

Next up, the Cougars encounter the El Camino Eagles (Sacramento, CA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, March 3. Center will attempt to upgrade on its 4-0 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 0-2 record after their 11-1 non-league loss to Rosemont (Sacramento, CA).
