Central Catholic Buttons (San Antonio, TX) followers left the game satisfied Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Sterling Rangers (Baytown, TX), 6-3 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Central Catholic moves its record to 6-1 on the season. The Buttons host New Braunfels (New Braunfels, TX) to confront the Unicorns in a non-league match on Thursday, March 6. The Unicorns come into the match with a record of 7-0. New Braunfels won 1-0 in their recent non-league match against Alexander (Laredo, TX)

The Rangers now possess a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Salado for a non-league match on Friday, February 28. Sterling will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 12-2 non-league loss to Brandeis (San Antonio, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 1-3.
