In Friday's non-league game, the visiting Central Valley Christian Cavaliers baseball team scored a close 8-7 victory over the Selma Bears.

The Cavaliers (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Reedley (Reedley, CA). The Pirates enter the non-league game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Reedley held off Golden West (Visalia, CA), 5-3, in a non-league game.

Next, the Bears face the Madera Coyotes (Madera, CA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 4. Selma will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.
