Pioneer Patriots (Woodland, CA) fans left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Downey Knights (Modesto, CA), 11-0 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Pioneer upgrades its record to 1-4 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Spanish Springs (Sparks, NV) to face the Cougars in a non-league battle on Saturday, March 1. The Cougars enter the battle with a record of 1-1. Spanish Springs won 9-0 in their recent non-league battle against Merced (Merced, CA)

Next, the Knights face the Escalon Cougars (Escalon, CA) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, March 5. Downey will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record.
