The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Slidell Tigers (Slidell, LA) and the visiting French Settlement Lions (French Settlement, LA), saw Slidell's baseball team gain a win over French Settlement by a tally of 13-4.

The Tigers (6-6) will now prepare for their battle against Archbishop Hannan (Covington, LA). The Hawks enter the non-league battle with a 5-7 record. In their last battle, Archbishop Hannan prevailed over Belle Chasse (Belle Chasse, LA), 1-0, in a non-league battle.

Coming up next, the Lions clash with the Pine Raiders (Franklinton, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, March 1. French Settlement will attempt to better on its 5-6 season record. The Raiders go into the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 16-6 non-league loss to Slidell (Slidell, LA).
