Alabama High School Baseball - Spanish Fort nips Glenwood
February 28, 2025: Spanish Fort, AL 36527 The Spanish Fort Toros baseball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Glenwood Gators to 7 in the Toros non-league win on Friday.
The Toros now hold a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Morgan County for a non-league test on Saturday, March 1. Spanish Fort will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 8-5 non-league loss to Glenwood (Phenix City, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-1.
With the defeat, Glenwood drops to 6-2 on the year. The Gators travel to Foundation Academy (Winter Garden, FL) to play the Lions in a non-league test on Saturday, March 1. The Lions go into the test with a record of 5-1. Foundation Academy lost 12-2 in their recent non-league test against Spanish Fort (Spanish Fort, AL)
