The Lake Norman Wildcats (Mooresville, NC) baseball the visiting Hough Huskies (Cornelius, NC), 4-2 in Friday's non-league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host West Cabarrus for a Greater Metro 4A challenge on Tuesday, March 4. Lake Norman will clash with a Wolverines team coming off a 12-7 non-league win over Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC). The Wolverines record now stands at 1-1.
