In Friday's non-league game, the host Northgate Vikings baseball team scored a close 6-5 victory over the Jackson Jaguars.

The Vikings (7-3) will now prepare for their game against Campbell (Smyrna, GA). The Spartans enter the non-league game with a 4-5 record. In their last game, Campbell held off Mt. Bethel Christian Academy (Marietta, GA), 11-1, in a non-league game.
