Texas High School Baseball - Magnolia Heights holds off Marcus
February 28, 2025: Flower Mound, TX 75028 The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Magnolia Heights Chiefs (Senatobia, MS) and the host Marcus Marauders (Flower Mound, TX), saw Magnolia Heights's baseball team gain a win over Marcus by a tally of 7-3.
The Chiefs (8-1) will now prepare for their battle against Mater Dei (Santa Ana, CA). The Monarchs enter the non-league battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, Mater Dei held off Walnut Grove (Prosper, TX), 11-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Marauders face the Fullerton Indians (Fullerton, CA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, March 1. Marcus will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Indians enter the battle with a 2-1 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to Rockwall (Rockwall, TX).
